She is run-ning!!

Bella is a running girl!! She runs all over our house almost ALL the time. This morning I found her naked in her bed LOL and as soon as I wiped her bottom and put her down OFF she went. It reminds me of Forrest Gump after his braces come off his legs and he runs everywhere.

She has started singing too. Her favorite is Hakuna Matata from Lion King but you probably wouldn't know it. She also sings "The more we get together" a lot. She is gonna have some musical ability for sure!! I'll try to get a video posted soon so you all can see.

I think I'm addicted to her...I just can't seem to get enough!!

Bella's cuteness

I know its been a while and so much has been going on that I couldn't begin to catch everyone up with everything. I did want to take the time to share a few cute things that Bella has said and done recently. It never ceases to amaze me the things that she can comprehend at her age...and her use of language LOL.

~"Daddy, I like your grass," she said as she gently stroked Adam's arm hair.
~While eating dinner, Bella had a very loud expulsion of gas LOL. Adam and I were shocked and just looked at her. She smiled a HUGE grin and said, "That ME!"
~Bella brings Snow White to me and wants to watch it so I tell her that the movie is a little scary so we will wait till she is a little bigger to watch it. She comes back a few minutes later with the movie and tells me, "Ok, I'm a little bigger now"

Her G-Ma and G-Pa Kuykendall passed down lots of Disney VHS movies for Bella and she has been loving Cinderella and Lion King. She even tries to sing some of the songs but I have a hard time making out the specific words but I love to hear it anyway.

Hope everyone is doing well. I know I've said it before but 'm really going to try to keep up with this better.

we are busy busy busy

I just wanted to share a quick story. Cindy and Jeff, this one is for you!! This morning on our way to Bella's school we were at a stoplight next to a firetruck. Bella is a friendly child and likes to tell everyone HI, "Hi Man" "Hi Lady" : D Anyway so she was checking out all the people that she could see from her carseat and telling them hi. When she got to the firetruck she said "Hi man in big truck" lol. I told her that her G-Pa drives a firetruck where he lives and she got super excited and started saying "HI G-PA! HI G-PA!!!" I tried to explain that G-Pa wasn't in THAT truck...who knows if she understood. Made me smile : D

Bella's school!!

Well, we have found a school that I think Bella is going to love!!! I will be meeting with the director to turn in parperwork and pay enrollment fees today. Her class encourages potty training too...YAY!!! So, we are going to transition out of the "snappy" clothes into separetes that she can will be able to pull off and on without much help. Anyhoo, we are pretty excited : D Check out the website below...

More Videos!

Listen carefully or you may miss it!! She is so smart and amazes us with something new everyday. Most recently, she was counting buttons on Adam's shirt. 1...2...3... Her attention span is quite normal for her age...as if you couldn't tell from either of these videos lol!

Summer updates

I found her the cutest little tricycle at an estate sale, $5!! She can reach the pedals but can't quite make it go just yet. Not too much longer though and she'll be riding all over.


Adam and I took her to the beach last sunday and she had a BLAST! She kept screaming so loud that had we not seen the huge grin on her face we would've thought she was hurt. I didn't get many pictures cause I was having too much fun with her...oh well.


This is just a cute one I wanted to share. This is my favorite of her 4 swimsuits for this summer and she looks so big!!


She had her first big boo-boo a few weeks ago. She was running too fast and fell down on the driveway and her tooth went through her bottom lip. This was the swelling the morning after, doesn't look too bad but it was pretty big. It healed up in about a week with no stitches and no ER visit : D


Car entertainment is almost always books. This time, she fell asleep and I tried to take it from her and she grabbed on and wouldn't let go. Even in her sleep, she's a mess!!

On another note, Bella is going to start "school" in a few weeks. She will be going Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to school and staying with Great-Grand-Mommy Clayton on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This year is going to bring a lot of changes for all of us but we are excited!! I am a little nervous, of course, about being away from Bella so much but I know she'll be fine. And for the video fans, I'll have a few more up later today.

Growing up FAST

Here is Miss Independent trying to put on one of her t-shirts by herself. This was going on for a minute or two before I got the camera so she really gave it her best try before she got frustrated.




For a while now we have been talking about colors, letters and numbers. Last week while cooking dinner I heard Bella saying "duh-bow" "duh-bow" and I look over to the side of the stove and she was playing with a magnetic "M" upsidedown. I asked her, "Is that a W?" and she shook her head yes and said "duh-bow". So then I started testing her with other letters and she knows most of the ones she sees regularly!! I was amazed at how quickly she picked it all up.
